We are calling all Christians to commit to taking up a major cross of
fasting and praying for America.  The reason?  Our nation is in dire
trouble...morally, emotionally, financially, just to name a few...and the only answer, we believe, is prayer and fasting.  If we, who call ourselves Christians, would fast and pray, 2 Chronicles 7:14 gives us the assurance that God will forgive our sins and heal our land.

It is impossible to turn on the television or pick up a newspaper or even log
onto the Internet without being bombarded with news of unimaginable
violence.  The depravity that has become commonplace in this nation is
infecting our children at an alarming rate.  Since the senseless deaths of
the 20 children and their teachers in Newtown, Conn., thousands of
people have been gunned down.  Gun control may help but it is not the
answer.  Guns don't kill people...people kill people.  Where does it stop, you ask?  With us.   

We believe that if we all bind together, on one accord, and fast and pray
for America, we can bring about the needed change.  Throughout the
Bible we see the hand of God move once the people fasted and prayed.  
Fasting alerts heaven that we are serious about the petitions that we
have laid at the throne.  

Christians, it's time to stop talking about the problem and become a part
of the solution.  We have always had the power to make a change so let's
be about our Father's business and get America back to God.  Our
founding fathers knew that a government apart from God would fail and
we are seeing the results of taking God out of our schools and public
functions.  The Constitution was never written to separate church and
state...that was our idea, we did that.

We would not ask you to engage in such an enormous battle without first
giving you tools to ensure your victory.  Listed below are tools for you to
use and pass along:

Prayer of Preparation - Undertaking a project of this magnitude calls
for you to be prayed up, protected and underneath the shadow of the
Almighty.  You will need to put on the whole armor of God daily.  
Remember, we are praying for our nation and this will make the devil
mad!  However, we as a people, are hurting and it is up to the church to
bring America back to the throne of GOD.  We cannot tire nor give up...our nation depends on our relentless tenacity in keeping the needs of this nation
before God.

21 Day Prayer Calender - Although it is our desire that you allow the
Holy Spirit to lead and guide your time of prayer, we have given you 21
topics of prayer for the 21 day period.  Each day provides you with a
devotional about the topic and a prayer.

The Daniel Fast - There are different fast that one can undertake, but
we've chosen the Daniel Fast as the one that we are asking everyone to
embrace for 21 days.  This particular fast is known as a partial fast,
meaning that you will deprive yourself of certain foods while still eating
enough to sustain life.  This fast consists of vegetables, certain fruits and
